I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1999. I’ve received two Master’s degrees from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary: Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and Master of Divinity. Previously, I was a public school teacher working with teens with Learning Disabilities. Before working in community practices, I worked at The Center for Women and Families where I worked with those victimized by sexual assault and/or intimate partner violence.
I’ve been using EMDR regularly for over 20 years. I am an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Consultant. I have experience with using EMDR to address implicit memories, emetophobia, car accidents, attachment wounds, fear of doing driver’s training, needle phobia, panic attack, dating violence, hate crime experiences, rape/sexual assault experiences, transgenerational trauma, poor self-esteem issues, and self-care, and much more.
I live with her wife and two Yorkies in Southern Indiana. I enjoy gardening, cooking (and eating), crafting and reading.
