Our Therapists
Tina Taylor
Hello, my name is Tina Taylor. In my 25 years as a therapist, I have worked with many people and have learned that all people have the strength to face adversity. Though trauma, mood issues, health problems, stress, relationships issues and other problems may get you stuck and off track, these issues can be addressed.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am EMDR Certified and Approved Consultant. I have training in Somatic Experiencing and Internal Family Systems. I have been practicing for over 25 years, which has included multiple setting including inpatient, residential, and outpatient. I specialize in traumatic stress, and anxiety.
Carrie Hunter
I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1999. I’ve received two Master’s degrees from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary: Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and Master of Divinity. Previously, I was a public school teacher working with teens with Learning Disabilities. Before working in community practices, I worked at The Center for Women and Families where I worked with those victimized by sexual assault and/or intimate partner violence.
I have been using EMDR regularly for over 20 years. I am an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Consultant. I have experience with using EMDR to address implicit memories, emetophobia, car accidents, attachment wounds, fear of doing driver’s training, needle phobia, panic attack, dating violence, hate crime experiences, rape/sexual assault experiences, transgenerational trauma, poor self-esteem issues, and self-care, and much more.
Jill Willoughby
Life is too short to suffer with emotional pain and feeling lost from ourselves. I recognize how difficult it can be to open up and share details about ourselves. I believe my clients deserve to be treated with empathy, respect, warmth, and patience without judgment or shame. Let me help you heal by creating a safe and supportive environment as we work together, at your pace, to mend from your past and discover meaning in life.
My name is Jill Willoughby, CSW and I am a telehealth trauma-informed EMDR trained therapist. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Katrina Sharp
Born and raised in Kentucky, I am familiar with the challenges many of my community members face from childhood trauma to poverty, grief and substance abuse. As a second-generation immigrant, I have first-hand experience with the difficulties immigrants and their families face as they begin a life in America. They often experience discrimination, poverty, and religious persecution while acclimating to the American Western culture. Although these challenges can negatively affect one’s future, they don’t have to. My goal is to empower clients to create a better future for themselves and their family through gaining the skills and knowledge needed to persevere through those challenges.
Aleia Dvorak
I graduated from the University of Louisville’s Kent School of Social Work with a Master’s of Science in Social Work. I believe that individuals are the experts in their own lives and possess the innate ability to heal. I am dedicated to assisting individuals in moving from surviving to thriving through collaborative processes. Being person-centered, trauma-informed, a lifelong learner, and culturally humble are not just ideals for me; they are integral aspects of my identity.
