Affiliate Therapist

Born and raised in Kentucky, I am familiar with the challenges many of my community members face from childhood trauma to poverty, grief and substance abuse. As a second-generation immigrant, I have first-hand experience with the difficulties immigrants and their families face as they begin a life in America. They often experience discrimination, poverty, and religious persecution while acclimating to the American Western culture. Although these challenges can negatively affect one’s future, they don’t have to. My goal is to empower clients to create a better future for themselves and their family through gaining the skills and knowledge needed to persevere through those challenges.

I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and later completed my Master’s in Social Work degree at Campbellsville University. I am experienced in working with adolescents, teens, and adults in individual, family, and group settings. I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Approaches through a virtual Telehealth platform to treat long-term trauma reactions presenting as anxiety, depression, dissociation, and other mood-related disorders. I have a heart for helping my clients succeed to become the best version of themselves possible.

“You’re not healing to be able to handle the trauma, you’re healing to be able to handle the joy.”
